The outdoors is integral to Brett’s life.  He loves bartending because it affords him the outdoor lifestyle he loves; he aims to mountain bike and ski for at least 250 days a year.  He’s competed in numerous ski competitions and events, taking first place in the 2007 pond-skimming at Park City Mountain and winning the Big Mountain Helly Hansen Battle in which skiers have to ski all points of the mountain; ride every chair lift; and hike up runs without any tracking devices while simultaneously hitting different checkpoints throughout the resort.  During his brief time away from Park City, Brett lived in Maui where he bartended and surfed, maintaining the work-life balance he loves.  It doesn’t seem like Brett will be leaving the food and beverage industry anytime soon – his appreciation for fine dining and an active lifestyle are too much to relinquish.
