Chase

Meet “Charming Chase.”  He’s classic and funny and says his cocktails are unique because they’re “made with love.”  Prior to bartending, Chase worked as a sushi chef in Nevada (where he’s from) and at local hot spot Takashi.  Six years ago he decided to try his hand at bartending and immediately knew it was something he wanted to pursue. Flash forward to 2016, and Chase has become his own boss; he is a partner at The Ruin and a founder of Nice & Easy Bartending Co.  While it’s his classic style that shines at work, it’s his humorous and fun personality that excels in his personal life.  He’s known for his dad jokes, and on Sundays during the summer he can be found drinking beer and flying down the rides at Lagoon.

IAN HASSELFELD

Ian, bar expert at HSL, SLC is a true creator. Currently in welding school, he has an eye, and a great palette for creating beautiful things. When he’s not behind the bar or lighting things up, you can find him skateboarding or working on his truck. He has a love of photography and a great artistic eye. Ian started creating innovative and delicious cocktails as a bartender one month after turning 21. His passion and love for building and creating things is evident in all of his drinks.

Ian said that one of the best things about bartending is showing the customer a drink they have never had or experienced and seeing them light up when they take the first sip is the best part of bartending for Iam.

We can not wait to see what Ian creates next. You can find him behind the swanky, SLC, Handle. Be prepared to be wow’d.
